Foodo is a restaurant discovery preview. Restaurant bookings, orders, catering enquiries and voucher purchases are completed on the restaurant’s website or its linked provider. Check the provider’s current prices, terms and availability before continuing.

Your browser data

Saved restaurants are stored in your browser’s local storage and are not sent to Foodo. You can remove them, or clear this site’s browser data, at any time.

List your restaurant

When you send the “List your restaurant” form, the details you enter (restaurant name, your name, email, optional phone number, town, cuisine, links and message) are emailed to the Foodo team at [email protected] and kept on Foodo’s server so we can follow up. We use them only to contact you about listing your restaurant, and keep them only as long as we need to for that. We don’t sell or share them; they pass only through the services that run this site (our hosting and Cloudflare) and our email provider (Zoho). To have your details deleted, email [email protected].

Google Maps information

When enabled, restaurant ratings, rating counts and selected reviews are requested from Google Maps Platform. Foodo sends the restaurant’s public name and location or its Google Place ID to retrieve that information. Foodo does not send your saved favourites or locally added restaurant details to Google. Review author images may be loaded directly from Google when you open reviews.

Google information is used for the current page view and is not saved in Foodo’s restaurant catalogue or browser storage. Google Place IDs may be retained to identify a restaurant. Reviews are selected by Google for relevance; Foodo does not collect its own customer ratings. Unmatched restaurants remain listed without a Google score.

Use of Google Maps features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Google Maps source links let you see current reviews and report content to Google.

Restaurant content

Restaurant photos come from the linked official websites. Brand photographs may appear across that brand’s branches. Offers show their source and date checked; prices, opening status and terms can change. Third-party links have their own privacy policies and terms.
